Arthur Johns Forge & Design Studio

Hand made, High Quality, Custom Metal Work,

by Arthur Johns

Lately I've been teaching a couple of blacksmithing classes out of my Studio. The first is called "Fundamentals of Blacksmithing".I've included a link to my course description on this page as well as some images of student work, and students at work. The second class is called Intermediate Blacksmithing , and is offered to students who have taken my first course. I never really wrote up a course description for my second course It's really a continuation of my first course with more of an emphasis put on creating individual projects.
I've also begun offering a "Fine Metalsmithing/Jewelry Making" course through the Shiawassee Arts Center. So far I've only offered one class which has gone pretty well, I've yet to capture any Images to post here, but I should have some reasonably soon.
If you are interested in taking one of my classes, or wish to read my course descriptions,go to the website for the Shiawassee Arts Center.

www.shiawasseearts.org.*As of today (12/1/05) I will not be offering a ny more courses untill the Spring of "06". This is due to the fact that Michigan is getting pretty cold and I've got some work to get done over the winter)
